FOR Forbes magazine’s 51st richest man in the world and Africa’s richest, Alhaji Aliko Dangote, one would have expected a life of affluence with a retinue of servants at his beck
and call, but the billionaire chose otherwise leading a life of humility. His dress sense and interaction with people speaks of his humility and his recent action caught the attention of not only his friends, but also others on the street.
The billionaire who sits atop the Dangote business empire now fancies driving himself from his Karimu Kotun, Victoria Island, Lagos to the Boat-club, where he is a member.
This weekly routine has been attracting a lot of people who line the street to catch a glimpse of the business mogul whenever he makes the short drive, while he returns their greetings by waving at them.
